Sanofi had an existing learning management system hosted by a 3rd party vendor and managed by a consulting firm; all of whom’s contracts were expiring within a period of 12 weeks. The company wanted to migrate to a new LMS and they wanted to be live the day after the existing vendor contracts expired. Another requirement was the targeted audiences had to receive training respective to their existing roles in the organization before the go-live date. Additionally, there were several customizations to the new LMS required to meet specific process requirements. Also, custom integrations were developed with legacy 3rd party content partners to ensure continuity after the implementation of the new LMS.
rapidLD was brought in to:
- Install and configure a hosted LMS application
- Migrate data from the Human Resources System and the existing LMS to the new LMS
- Train all administrators throughout the process so they could in turn train manager and users prior to the go-live date.
rapidLD facilitated the successful roll deployment of Sanofi’s new LMS to 10,000 users within a period of 12 weeks.
