Talent Management Roadmap

Creating a Roadmap

You need a plan that is clear about where the opportunities are for Talent Management (TM Strategy), about how you will leverage technology to accelerate the TM strategy (TM Technology Roadmap), and about how to most effectively use technology within specific Talent Management initiatives (TM Best Practices).

rapidLD can help customers create a plan that:
  • Identifies their top talent management challenges needed to address their business challenges
  • Utilizes a strategic approach to integrate talent management systems, processes, and strategy to help achieve their business objectives
  • Defines talent management processes and desired outcomes
  • Understands the value proposition of an integrated approach to talent management
  • Helps organizations develop a roadmap for deployment of integrated talent management to ensure alignment across the organization and to use as a communication tool for effective change management

rapidLD will help you consolidate these activities into a comprehensive actionable strategy and enable you to get results quickly.

Getting Results
rapidLD has a consulting engagement that enables the customer to 'get started' on Talent Management which includes these three elements:

  • TM Strategy – The strategy is about assessing the organization’s current state and future state business/talent challenges, needed talent interventions/processes and integrated solutions through a series of interviews with key stakeholders, functional leaders and end-users.
  • TM Technology Roadmap – The roadmap is used as a deployment best practice to implement a portion of the functionality to a portion of the user audience over a period of time. This accomplishes two things: 1) It allows the implementation team to refine rollout strategies, and 2) The phased approach allows for easier transformation by the user audience into a new method for accessing, participation in technology-based talent management, and adjustments to updated business processes (Change Management).
  • TM Best Practices – rapidLD has breadth and depth of knowledge of integrated Talent Management solutions and provides best practice knowledge in change management, creation of communication and training plans, configuration of technical specifications and user interfaces, designing the system to accommodate cultural and business unit differences, and ensuring the system is fully integrated with the current HRIS system.
