Talent Management Solutions

To meet the talent management needs of an organization, rapidLD takes the following steps to help clients deploy integrated talent management solutions.

Step One: rapidLD identifies the integrated talent management requirements aligned with business requirements by conducting core team, key stakeholder and functional group interviews with many of the groups responsible for each aspect of talent management. From these interviews, a consolidated list of talent management requirements is developed.

Step Two: rapidLD translates the integrated talent management requirements into technology functionality. To put the requirements into perspective, a roadmap is developed to present a phased approach to the deployment of the talent management solution.

Step Three: rapidLD validates the talent management requirements and roadmap recommendations. This document, other background information, and interview results are delivered to the client’s core project team for review and input so that talent management initiatives can be prioritized. rapidLD guides the client in making changes to help solidify the "value" message of deploying talent management technology according to the roadmap.

Step Four: The final results are presented to the core and extended teams for consideration. Typically, the head of the talent management function at the organization will share this message with the leadership as required.

Step Five: rapidLD is available to guide the client through the decision making process of investing in a talent management solution. To this end, rapidLD will play an advisory role during the analysis and procurement of the Talent Management System (TMS). A plan for integration of existing technology with the new system is developed and an agreement is reached on the roadmap timelines and the placement of key talent management functionality for each defined release. Next, the Change Management Strategy, Critical Success Factors, Project Charter, and Risks / Risk Mitigation Plans are defined followed by the development of "use case scenarios" and "scripts" that will drive the product selection process.

Step Six: Following the roadmap as a guide, the desired modules of the chosen talent management system are selected and implemented in pre-defined phases. These activities are followed by change management activities. rapidLD guides a pilot program with a select group of users followed by a full implementation for the entire organization.
