Challenge:

Rockwell CAS had a legacy training business providing over $20M in training services to the Rockwell customer.  This training was classroom based and primarily existed in Cedar Rapids, IA.  At the same time, Rockwell’s customer base was growing and becoming global in nature.  The need arose to provide their specialized training services to their customers irrespective of time or place.   

Solution:

rapidLD worked with Collins Avionic Services to:

ü       Implement the LMS

ü       Integrate an online assessment engine

ü       Implement an ILT management system

ü       Implement a collaboration tool

ü       Provide hosting and technical support

Outcome:

Rockwell CAS has a fully deployed Learning Portal (http://www.collinstraining.com) capable of delivering training to their customers 24 x 7 x 365.   This has enabled Rockwell CAS to zoom ahead of their competition in providing world class service to their customers.  This initiative has also stimulated creative thinking in the Rockwell environment on how to move more of their training into a collaborative, virtual environment.  For more information on this project, please contact us: info@rapidld.com or 770-874-1190 x 222.
